Occupation/Career: He modeled clothes for GapKids and Marks and Spensers from the age of 7! Now he is an actor, in the past few years he has landed himself the leading role in two films.

After appearing in many adverts as a young child, Alex decided that he didn't want to follow in the footsteps of his actor father Richard, and wanted to lead a normal life.

Lucky for us he changed his mind after catching the 'acting bug' he auditioned for the main role in Tom Browns schooldays, and he got it, from there he has continued acting.

Though it might not be known that Alex used to want to be a Policeman when he was younger.

He says if he wasn't an actor he would be a Race Car Driver, and he's done Kart Racing and Motor Races, but even then I think it's safe to say we'd prefer if he'd stick with acting!

He has a freckle just in the corner of his mouth on his left, in his movies it is often airbrushed out!

He auditioned for the lead part in Stardust but didn't get it.

He also was said to have been a favourite for the lead part in Eragon but decided not to go for the part due to his fear of flying. (Filming of the movie would be filmed abroad) It also clashed with fliming of Stormbreaker 

Acting

'Just imagine hot sick with a bit of rotten banana on top. And that's the best smell you'll get all day!'

'I don't think that's such a good idea. I'd really stress this. People think it'll be great because they've read about it or seen it in a movie, and they want to go to boarding school themselves. After two weeks you'll think 'I don't like it here. I miss my family. I wanna go home. But you're there, and you can't go home.'

Fansites

'I don't look. It could be intimidating. But I always say 'never meet your idols.' I don't like disappointing people. But it's great to have fans behind you.'

Inspirations

I'd love to work with directors such as George Lucas or Steven Spielberg, and I'd love to appear alongside Tom Cruise.

My idol is Al Pacino because it's all about the acting rather than the looks'

Homelife

'Parties don't thrill me. I like sitting at home with a tub of Chunky Monkey ice cream watching Big Brother or Friends'
